Hi everyone!
I am an absolute beginner with electronics, but somehow got curious to know more about this. I have a strong background in Linux and networking and a somewhat less strong background in scripting and programming.
I became interested in electronics when I saw how often makers like Punished Props Academy or Adam Savage casually used an Arduion Nano and some connected stuff in some of their projects and what they acomplished with this.
As first projects I had a TV-be-gone on my list, but when I found Bills videos about a bench supply from an ATX-PSU or an old power brick from a laptop I thought that would be great thing to do (true to the "tools to make tools" paradigm of Unix π ).
Cheers from germany
Thomas
Hi Thomas and welcome to the forum!
The power supplies would make great projects for an "absolute beginner with electronics", and the result is something that you can use for a long time. Good choice!
