First up, have you mastered the asyncio module yet?
That appears to be about multitasking. I tend to learn on a need to know basis. I am not interested in becoming a Python expert I don't have the time. I managed ok with C++ but again I am not an advanced C++ programmer.

I'm not a professional builder. Always had a desk job using brain power in my careers. I now build things myself, for the enjoyment of using my hands in projects, keeping active and for the day I or my wife might need wheelchair access.
One of my favorite lines. AVP (Alien vs Predator)

You're still a "young" guy at 65 yr?
Very wise really. The other area you want to think about is the bathroom and shower. Wide passages are also good. I had to help look after an ailing father in law and getting him around narrow passage corners in his house wasn't easy. The toilet was also in a small room so he struggled get out of his wheelchair to turn around to sit and the shower was small with a rim you had to get the wheelchair over.
My sister and her husband refurbished their house for old age. Mind you her husband cannot sit still and has redone their large house a few times. Plays golf and tennis. They are about 72 yr. In the meantime they are travelling around Australia towing a large caravan and making the most of their lives!

The other area you want to think about is the bathroom and shower.
That's next on the list. The left door in the picture is into the Master bathroom which is rather small. I'll be knocking out a wall and replacing the standard bath/shower insert with a free-standing bathtub. The wife love baths for some strange reason. I'll be making a full tile, curb-less/door-less 4'x4' shower so I can just wheel into it.
Hmmm! Note to self: Got to find a waterproof, high-powered wheel chair.
The way I look at it, there are a whole lot of Baby Boomers ahead of me that will drive the market to come up with all kinds of "aides". I'm definitely keeping an eye on Tesla to make a car that will drive me way after I should be driving myself.

Oh! And I will NEVER do sheetrock mudding/sanding again. That is $#!+ work!
