I have a desk lamp exactly like that, but with a heavy base. Maybe I could glue a magnifying glass to it. 😀

@jker FYI @yurkshirelad

Great minds think alike, I just looked this up on Amazon ...

"https://www.amazon.ca/TANiCE-Magnifying-Clamp-Glass-Metal/dp/B08Z3NZLXX/ref=sr_1_18?dchild=1&keywords=work+magnifying+glass&qid=1635877587&sr=8-18"

Anything seems possible when you don't know what you're talking about.

I already have a powerful LED lamp over the desk so I just need a magnifying glass. I'm also running out of free power sockets on my power bar!

@yurkshirelad

Removing the lamp and replacing it with a lens sounds perfect. The gooseneck will keep it from interfering with your hands and the "helping hands" as you work.

Anything seems possible when you don't know what you're talking about.

I did some work last night when it was dark out and I realized my LED light isn't actually that bright!

I was looking for a magnifying glass on Amazon and found one, but you have to love how they photoshopped the product into the picture!

If you use a magnifying glass, what times zoom works for you?
