I've been a good boy lately and have refrained from eating out just to save up enough money to buy some more robotics junk. Today I order two new Raspberry Pi Zeroes. However, I did it in a totally brainless way.
One reason I bought them is because they are so cheap and so am I. ?
At $5 they were pretty attractive. Although they actually charge $5 shipping too so that's actually 10 bucks. Later I'll need to buy a WiFi dongle so I can set them up headless. Although that's where half my brain actually kicked in and started working.
I realized that I would be better off buying a Pi Zero W that has WiFi already built-in. So when I ordered the second Pi Zero I actually got a Pi Zero W for $10 + $5 shipping.
I would have ordered them both from the same place hoping to get a break on the shipping, but for some reason both of these vendors only allow one per customer. So I ordered one from Adafruit and one from Vilros. One will have built-in WiFi and the other one won't. I'm a little disappointed in myself for not paying closer attention before ordering. I would have just gotten two of the W's.
In any case, I have two Pi Zeroes heading my way to play with. That's better than the stinking pizzas I used to buy. ?
Now I'll need to get a WiFi dongle for one of them and that will most likely cost me more than the extra $5 I could have spent just getting two Pi W's to begin with. On well, live and regret. That's life.

Don't worry, you are not alone!
My problem is spontaneously ordering stuff from China, and by the time it arrives, I have forgotten what I wanted to do with it.
But I do remember some important things. Tomorrow is the 50th anniversary of WOODSTOCK!
Now I can't remember where all that time has gone. Duh! ? ? ?
Sadly, they canceled the reunion concert
As it turns out, you can't order the permits on your Iphone... you have to actually go there in person
The concert won't be live streamed... you have to go there in person
They expected Live Nation to pay for it, instead of, you know, actually selling tickets (really, they forgot to sell tickets)
Oddly enough, the organizers have insisted that it's actually not cancelled, they're going to have the concert anyway, just with no place to hold it, no bands, and no people showing up
They say they're expecting it to be a big success
I'm pretty sure they will broadcast to original Woodstock film somewhere.
I wouldn't bother with a reunion concert, who are they going to reunite, most of the original artists are dead.
Entwhistle, Moon, Hendrix & Joplin to name just a few!
