My ten 16GB SD cards came today from AliExpress.    So it was almost exactly 2 weeks.  Not bad.  It's free shipping anyway.   They were $2.80  a piece I got ten of them so it was $28.  No discount for the quantity purchase.    But at $2.80 a piece I figured I just grab ten since i use them in a lot of projects anymore.

I went through all tend of them.  I just stuck them in an SD card reader on my computer.  Saved a text file to them giving each one a number and a statement that it had been tested with the date.  Then just reopened the file to be sure they worked.  I also did a "chkdsk" on them from the terminal window.  It doesn't preform an extensive test.  But it did report that they were all supposedly in good shape and they all reported the correct 16GB size.    So I'm happy with that.

This is the second batch of ten SD I bought through AliExpress.   These are a different brand from the previous ones, but basically the same price.   I haven't had any problems with the original batch.  I've burned Raspberry Pi system image files on them and they have booted up on the Raspberry Pies so far.

I haven't tried this batch yet.  I could burn one and see what happens.   I hope they work as system cards.  That's a large part of what I bought them for.  So I'll try one as soon as I can find the time to do it.

@pakabol,

Just as an update.  I wrote a Raspberry Pi image file to one of these SD cards and inserted it into a Raspberry Pi and it booted up.  The system appears just as I had left it complete with the WiFi access and my old files in the directories.

I run these Raspberry Pies "Headless" using Windows Remote Desktop, and I had no problem logging into it via WiFi with the new SD card.   And on the Pi the Remote Desktop software needs to be installed before you can do that.  So all of that remained in tact.

So these cards seem to be working for me.

What kind of OS image are you installing on your SD cards?  And what are you trying to boot them up on?

at 1st i was trying to flash over a 256 gig retrocade image was taking over 24 hour 🙁 then i had tried to install noob os on it to run on my raspberry pi 3 b+ and it still failed twice then i tested it out on a 64 gig chip just to see if it was me (i drink and smoke so who knows LOL) but it worked just fine  but i also notice the the sandisk  card i bought turned out to be a so off brand (i think i tossed it and cant remember)my bad for not noticing  i know prices are droping quick on components but im always worried on them. i had always been taught that you get what you pay for and ive never had a good experience buying  cheap sd's
