When posting a question, please try to be more specific... right now, it's not clear what exactly you think is missing?

@joelyddon

Fair enough, but in my defense I didn't click the link, because I thought it was just related to the embedded video which you included, which was working.  All you had to say is that you can't find the article related to the link below 🙂

Where did you find this?  How?

I went to DroneBot Workshop Heaven and asked the Search Box God where they keep the "Real Time Clock" article.

The DroneBot Workshop Angels instantly fetched it for me and displayed it on my screen. ?

No Arduinos or Raspberry Pies were harmed in the process.  Honest! ?

@joelyddon

Having read this thread in its whole and that the issue here seems to be about the DroneBot Website, it may have been more prudent to send an email, quietly to the Website Administrator (Bill), informing him that the link to the TinyRTC page was "broken".

The email address is:

info@dronebotworkshop.com

I can only echo the comment by @frogandtoad

In this case, we are not talking about a missing "FILE", as you put it, but about a "BROKEN LINK"! And that is a trivial matter, not worth an open debate, rather for a Web Admin to deal with and I am sure that Bill would appreciate greatly any pointers to where his excellent and comprehensive website is not working as it should!

I have to agree somewhat with @pugwash and the others before him, that this could have been a little clearer on where exactly you ran into this issue.  And it is just a 'broken' link!  Everything is there in the full article, and this 'broken' link is just on Bill's YouTube channel in the text that goes along with the video.

On the DronebotWorkshop web page a search from the search box at the top of the page for "RTC" or "Real Time Clock" returns two different results, but both return, at the very top of the list, the article in question that was the real subject in your first post.

Yes a lot of wasted breath, but it does point out how each of us has a different frame of reference when pondering a question.  There was @joelyddon right in the middle of it when he posed the question that was perfectly clear to him, then the rest of us were looking at the question in a totally different frame of mind and we couldn't see the forest for the trees.

But it at least forced us to put on our thinking caps!  ?

OK, I'm sorry I didn't present the problem correctly.

I did it in a way, to me, that would say The Link does not work.

I gave the link, to click, to prove the point.

"Does not work" = "Broken"...  Yes?   I did not know if the file was missing, broken link, or what; ergo, Does not work.

I did not mean for this simple report to end up in a huge Crisis / Debate.

Thank you for the info email addr.   I guess from now on, when something has gone wrong, I should just email to the info email addr. ???

Y'all have a Good day...  OK?
