For some reason, I absolutely adore watching production lines. Conveyor belts, robots and the like. I find it fascinating. This kind of automation would be fun to learn how to make.
I was wondering if the DroneBot hivemind knows of projects, in real (small) industry, that is powered by the lowly arduino or it's cousins? Or concepts of a certain size.
My google-fu gets me lots of simple dc-motor card board conveyor belts and the more or less obligatory color sorting PoC. I want desktop robot arms in real scenarios for inspiration. Actual production.
Anyone knows of such projects/videos? I need a really good excuse to buy a robot arm or two...
Here are some desktop robots that you can get some ideas for what you want your own to do. Some of these are pretty cool.
