Hi Bill,

I would love to see a tutorial using the LAN8720 wired Ethernet boards with the ESP32 (and maybe even an Arduino).  I recall in a recent video tour of your lab you stated that you preferred using wired Ethernet over Wi-Fi whenever possible, and I am of a similar opinion.  Lately I've been making some remote displays using ESP32s connected to a local PLC network I have, but to use the ESP32 natively I need to add a wireless access point, and I would much prefer just to plug them into my local network.  I've ordered some of the LAN8720 boards and plan to work with them soon, but I think many others may be interested in using wired Ethernet on their projects.

Thanks!

Excellent idea!

You are correct, I do prefer wired Ethernet for both speed and security.

Consider this one accepted!
