how do I reduce the range of the RCWL-0516? There is a place on the back, R-GN, for a resistor that can reduce the RCWL-0516's range. What resistor value do I need to get the range down to just a couple feet?

I've never used one but try this https://github.com/jdesbonnet/RCWL-0516/issues/22

Anything seems possible when you don't know what you're talking about.

I'd looked at that site. Most of the talk was about removing and replacing a resistor. That's not for me; they're way too small. Some said they'd try putting a 47K resistor across R-GN which effectively puts the 47K in parallel with I thing R9, but none have said they tried it and it worked and had other bad side effects. aka, has anyone tried it?
