Just wondering what uses, others, are planning for the non-navigation sensors. I am looking to this Sensor Layer for a number of purposes. Primarily I see it as a platform to test out the capabilities of new sensors and new uses for legacy sensors. I'm building (test-ready is a long way off) a DIY LIDAR. I'm also planning to build a system utilizing triangulation to pinpoint robot location on a given map. I suppose GPS will be in there at some point too.
What other ideas are out there?
