Finally Picos with Headers already attached, and a WiFi option. The 3 new members of the Pico family are Pico H, and Pico W both available now, and Pico HW in August.
First computer 1959. Retired from my own computer company 2004.
Hardware - Expert in 1401, and 360, fairly knowledge in PC plus numerous MPU's and MCU's
Major Languages - Machine language, 360 Macro Assembler, Intel Assembler, PL/I and PL1, Pascal, Basic, C plus numerous job control and scripting languages.
My personal scorecard is now 1 PC hardware fix (circa 1982), 1 open source fix (at age 82), and 2 zero day bugs in a major OS.
The Pico WiFi is already sold out from one of the places I normally buy from. Otherwise I'd pick one up.

I purchased 3 of them a couple of months ago, and have yet to get around to soldering them up - I need to order a 3rd hand with a massive magnifier first 🙂
@frogandtoad I use several pieces of perf board then just stick the headers in and the board on top. Works great.

It's still in stock at Pimoroni, I ordered one (which is the maximum they allow) yesterday, and it is already shipped.
I also have a pre-order order placed at CanaKit, they didn't seem to have a limit, so I ordered 4. However, I see they are sold out of pre-orders now.
When a new Pi board goes on the market you need to act fast LOL!
I suspect that once the initial rush dies down these will be a lot easier to get than the other Pi boards are, there is no shortage of RP2040 chips.
Of course, I plan to do a video about this ASAP! I expect the one from Pimoroni by the end of next week at the latest. The ones from CanaKit don't ship until July 6.

How much was shipping from the uk?
Never mind, sold out at Pimoroni!

As I said, you need to be fast - it was still available when I originally posted. I'm sure that in a few weeks you'll be able to get them everywhere.
Shipping was £10.00 GBP, twice the cost of the Pico W, however I also had another £37.50 GBP item on the order as well. You can get shipping for half that if you don't want tracking.
