I'll list where I had trouble doing what was shown in the YouTube video Hacking the Google AIY Voice kit - part 1.
At 20:08 - Selecting application type - told to select "other" - other was not a choice. I selected desktop.
At 22:34 - Activity Controls - Web & App Activity was chosen. include Chrome browsing history was chosen. scroll down to Device Information was not displayed. Voice & audio activity was not displayed.
Work with Google API in terminal - I typed src/assistant_library_demo.py - no such file or directory. I found it in src/examples/voice/. I went to AIY-projects-python/src - I typed examples/voice/assistant_library_demo.py
Seemed to try to run but with errors. First error line 71 in <module> main().
third error was line 151 in get_assistant_credentials.
I don't think I got things setup correctly.

Tried again using web application instead or Desktop app. Went over the credentials again. Got the same errors in line 71, etc. For some reason, I don't think I have permission to run the sketch. The hardware checks out to record and playback my voice. I think this a very old project and hope someone is still reading these posts.
