@queenidog

In the reply editor click on "Choose a files" just under the bottom left of where you are typing in text.   A dialog window will pop up with a button at the top "Attach Files".   Click on that and you will be able to choose the photo you want to post.   Then after that photo has been added to your list of attached files be sure the box to the far right of it is checked and then click on the button at the top that says, "Insert Into Post"

You will then see that an attachment number has been inserted into the text editor.

To see what the picture will look like when you post it you can click on "Preview" at the very bottom left corner of the post editor.   Beneath that button a preview of what your post will look like will appear.   Then you can go ahead and post the results and the post should appear just as it did in the preview.

I don't have a "Choose a file" link.   If I could do a screenprint and send it to you I could show you....  Sounds like an infinite loop.

NOW the "Choose a file)  appears after I sent a query.

The photo shows an ATX power supply using breakout boards, providing many screw terminals for connections.

@dronebot-workshop

I would like to request a Robotics Story Forum potentially entitled:

Robot Anecdotes, Tales, and Fantasies
Describe your robot experiences here or write a robot story.

This could be a nice place for people to share true robotic tales as well as sharing robot fantasies.

I'm actually writing a robot fantasy that I would like to post and I don't want to post it in the Test forum so I thought I'd make a request for a forum here. ?

Just as an additional note, my robot fantasy actually describes what's going on within the robot, and in spite of being a fantasy, it can be informative in terms of helping to explain how robots can be programmed and how they actually work.  So any robot fantasies I post will double as educational material. ?

Instead of just requesting a fantasy forum, I thought it would make more sense to make it also a place where people can post real life experiences they have with their actual robots.   I recall that you had experienced Google and Alexa interacting by accident.  That could probably qualify as a story here as well.  Maybe you could even move that anecdote over to this forum when  you create it.

Just to remind you where it was you posted it:

Google talks to Alexa and Alexa Responds!

In terms of a section to place it in I'm thinking maybe "Outside the Workshop"?

@dronebot-workshop

Never mind the request for the fantasy forum Bill.  I posted the fantasy in the Artificial Intelligence forum. ?

I thought we had a separate topic for commenting on the videos but I can't seem to find it.  I had some questions to post the esp32 video any thoughts on the best place to post them?

I can't find where I start a new thread.

Is it just the Admin and Mods that start new threads, and we reply to the thread?

No such thing as too much energy, it's just un-utilised potential.

@squish

If you are referring to a new topic as a new thread, and I think you are, then just select the major category, and then there is a "New Topic" button on the top right of that category.  Just click on that, enter your topic title and then the comments you want to make in the text box.

I just did this to create a new topic/thread on trying to focus a RasPi HQ camera with a 6mm lens.
