@zefd

I'm not understanding something.

How many leaf switches are there? One or two?

Is there one each for the pellet hopper and one for the breach loading?

What's not clear to me is how to give an impulse signal to the firing motor if the leaf switch turns it off after it reaches the firing position.

@tfmccarthy The gun mechanism has just one leaf switch. There is no pellet hopper at this time, as the model is not completed. The other switch listed in the code is an arming lever switch that will be mounted in the model. The trigger signal to fire comes from the RC receiver.

"What's not clear to me is how to give an impulse signal to the firing motor if the leaf switch turns it off after it reaches the firing position." This is one problem I am still working on.

@zefd

I found a video that clarifies the firing operation: HENG LONG BB SHOOTER- RC TANK

Another video clarifies the leaf switch: Understanding The Heng Long & Taigen MFUs - Part 1

This now adds up to me. The firing motor is fires continuously and the leaf switch allows you to synchronize firing with other actions (e.g., single shot, sound effect, etc.)

I think this completes this part of the picture.
