Thank you Scott.
I will experiment .
That is the issue with this modules.
Luck of documentation.
Thank you very much.
Ion
I have one more question which is capital for me.
I read that we can program each pin as input or output.
Did anybody did it ?
I want pins 1,2,3 and 4 to be input and pins 5,6,7 and 8 to be output.
Can be done ?
Does anybody has the magic formula to follow , with an example ?
And talking about the outputs, how much current can i draw from and output. I want to connect some relays .
The documentation is really limited and i have to rely on others experiments.
Thank you for help.
I don't think it can be used as a general IO type controller unless you change the built-in firmware. Looks like you can have one in a "remote control transmit mode" (GPIO all inputs) and another as "Remote receive mode" (GPIO all outputs) I would assume it would not drive a relay directly and would need a transistor or optoisolator in front of the IO line to drive it, and also a flyback diode across the relay. I think when the module is in this mode, it can't be used as a data transceiver for a microcontroller.
Thank you
