I'm a retired analytical scientist, foodstuff, environment and water and lots of other areas as they were required.
I have a great love of the sea and live about 200 yards from the beach. I served near 40 years as a volunteer lifeboat man with the RNLI. My main hobby is model boating, building static period ships, radio controlled craft and of course a big interest in microelectronics and their use in models etc. I'm just short of 70 years of age but still learn new tricks daily.
I live in Ramsey on the Isle of Man, in the middle of the Irish Sea. Famous for TT motor cycle racing (which I also dabbled with when younger) and cats with no tails. Currently we have no community Covid, so are without local restrictions BUT our borders are closed to all but essential travel either way. AND we are a Crown dependency, self governing and not in the UK, have our own Government, the Tynwald and have close Viking ancestral ties.
