After working on other peoples problems for 40+ years as an engineer I am now retired and beginning to work on many of my own ideas. I have always been fond of mechatronics and am learning about microprocessors like the Arduino, et cetera. I have spent the last few years building a large DIY mechatronic parts kit and learning how to do things. I have a workshop of sorts consisting of a number of work areas varying from a clean assembly area inside my home, dust producing hand/power tool usage area in my garage, and finally a truly dirty job area outdoors on my patio. I build mostly small models and machines. My hobbies include reading, writing, mathematics, physics, robotics, rocketry, rock hounding, and mechatronics.
