For stand alone I have used 9 volts for nano, and (I think) on the pi4.  For the DB1 bot I'm using a 12volt lead acid through a 5 volt buck converter.

I am thinking of using a std 9v battery in a finished project...

For TESTING on the bench, can I use +12v? (like from an ATX power supply)

... or should I go through a 9v regulation?

Thank you.

Have Fun,
