I am David.  WA9ONY is my amateur radio call sign which I have had since 1965.  In the world of the internet there are may Davids around the world.  But, there is only one WA9ONY and I use it on the internet most of the time as my identifier.  Also, my  Aussie dog at my radio station desk is my avatar.

I have been doing electronics since the early 1960s when I built a Heath kit GR-91 short wave radio.  

This year I have been working on kite altimeter projects and I cam across Bill's YouTube "Three Air Pressure Sensors with Four Microcontrollers" which got me interested in his YouTube channel and this forum.  I am here to learn, share, have fun, make things, etc.

I am in the process of adding LoRa to the kite altimeters.  

Since 2013 I am an avid AI user. ChatGPT is my partner in project research, design, coding and data analysis.  

I am writing this on a Raspberry Pi P500 computer.  Most of my kite projects use RP2040 or RP2350 microcontrollers and I use  CircuitPython or MicroPython with AI to program them.
