A long time ago I went to University to study electronics, but made a mess of it and left after a year and went into computing. Spent my whole working life programming, but in recent years the electronics bug has bitten again and now I spend a lot of time playing with Arduinos (and the programming thereof of course). Theoretically I'm now retired - though still working - hoping to spend more time with my hobby from now on. Slightly concerned I seem to spend more time arranging components neatly in drawers than I do actually making things - my ambition is to have a workshop like the, um, DroneBot Workshop!

My other interests are cars, photography and guitars.
