I have always had an affinity for electronics and my original college major was electrical engineering. I had my first programming class as a freshman in the early 1970s and that was it - I changed to software and had a 47-year career developing software. Much of my development was in various assembly languages from mainframes to microprocessors and I eventually transitioned to the Microsoft arena where I adopted C# as my main language. Now that I have "retired", I have the time to go back and revisit what I missed earlier in life and study electronics.
I am currently building various projects for model train automation using Arduinos.
