I recently starting experimenting with larger LED Matrix display boards 64x32 driven by Arduino. This led me to purchase an Adafruit M0 express, amazing flexible board with lots of flash and special speedy registers to do things like smooth text scrolling. And it inspired me to learn more about simpler FPGA boards and how they work.
