Thank you for adding me. I'm trying to control a nema 17 with a VCSEL laser distance sensor. The closest code I could find uses a small clickable rotary encoder. I need to pass the instant measurement of the sensor so the motor moves a number of steps instantaneously. I'm not trying to get free code, just a few pointers as to how to pass the variable between the sensor readings to stepper part of the code. Any pointers or pseudo code are much appreciated.
