JetBot - Anyone done any work on this toy?

Think I'll move on to something that is more like what Bill explains, instead of wasting my time with something as poorly documented as this JetBot.  Life just has too many toys to waste time on problem childs!

Pity to leave all that computing power doing nothing!

Although it is neat to have a machine powerful enough to do deep learning for me personally ROS and deep learning are all too complex.  With regards to the utube demo above on obstacle avoidance you can of course use GOFAI which you can run on a simpler machine and have full understanding of how it works.

Thanks for the info!

I've been using the Jetson Nano for other purposes than controlling the JetBot up to this point, so I'll probably just go back to that mode.  I have no plans to jump into the quagmire of ROS at this point in my life
