My Name is Graham, Recently Retired after 40 years of working, so now i can start to dig into what interests me. For sometime i have bee interested in Robotics, watched a lot of Videos and came to the conclusion that using an ESP32 with remote control servos, Paired up with a psx 3 controller Might be the easier option to start learning how to build a robotic arm for my glove puppet of a Parrot bird to sit on and move about. But then i could quite easily be wrong, Either way i went out and brought a Flashforge creator pro2 3d printer to get me started, This sounds like fun and exciting.
It would be kind of good to mention, for the last 12 years i have performed at many GiGs as a Magician, thats another of my Passions, so much so i am currently President of our local club in Southampton UK
Welcome to the forum Graham.
I am also working to pair a Playstation controller (PS4) to the ESP32. I am just getting started on it and haven’t gotten very far. I have the controller talking to the ESP32 and am receiving data from it. I'm now working to parse out the data, depending on which button, switch, and joystick is being activated. I intend to use the PS4 controller to control the movement of a robot car I’ve been working on for a while now. Your gig as a magician sounds very interesting and I would imagine great fun!!
