I would like to build a simple circuit to power a cordless drill to operate my plasma cutter. Looking for any (input) ha ha. So I will need a power supply, forward and reverse with variable speed. The drill will be driving a length of threaded rod to provide motion to the pasta cutting head attached to a carriage. I have several cordless drills ranging from 9.6 to 12v that I can cannibalize for the project. Any ideas would be appreciated thanks.

My suggestion is to first google for ideas and see if there is anything that might be suitable for your project.
