Hello everyone. My name is Paul and I'm about to retire and looking forward to learning something new. My career spanned nearly 40 years in the IT consulting space. I was always a "hardware guy". Looking forward to learning the software side of things from you all.
@pwhaley8920 Welcome aboard. Same here as a "hardware guy". Built my first computer as an "Altair 8800 Kit for Christmas" during a sales program MITS had back in March/April of 1975. Still have it but even though greatly expanded it has some issues but it is on the workbench getting a finetooth going over. Also have a Teletype M33ASR that needs some work to connect as my terminal when I can get both up and running together.
Again, welcome to our forum!

Lucky guy. I had to settle for a simpler computer kit. It was a lot of fun.

Hello @pwhaley8920
These days software is an important (essential?) element of most hardware projects. Have fun.
