Hello to everyone in the forum I’m new to the group. I have played around with the R3 board very little though . I am a retired aircraft mechanic as my member name F-14 flight test implies. I’ve been studying today’s automotive computer systems but Ive become interested in how everything interacts through the use on computer programming. I’ve noticed there are CAN Buss integration projects and also Drone projects . The main reason I joined DroneBot was the way it’s presented really impressed me and I want to keep my brain operating and I feel this is the way I want learn and grow. I’m sure all of us had to start somewhere and I feel this is going to be an amazing experience . I’m up here on Long Island New York. Feel free to ask me anything this is my first day so don’t hit me to hard but all advice is welcome . I’ve read there is a specific area to ask questions which I already have . Thank you for allowing me to be part of the group.

Well I’ve started the journey of learning the R4 WiFi . Day one went relatively smooth loading the IDE and writing the first sketch . I didn’t load the exact sketch I believe I loaded 2.3.2. It seemed to work fine . Today I’ll start day two and work on the SOS project . Should be fun and challenging as I’m new to all of this . Actually navigating the forums is a little confusing . Am I in the correct portion for posting general progress and questions . Thanks any input welcome

@f-14-flight-test

You were in the area for introductions, which makes it the proper place for your first post and to say "Hi" to everyone.

It takes some time to get familiar with all the cubby holes for posting. Just look at the title for the major sections and pick the one you think best. If it's wrong, I'm sure someone will pipe in! 😎
