I don't know what to put here ... 😀
I am Cristian, a mechanical enginner, living in Romania. I am a beginner on Electronics. I began this journey about 1 year ago when I started to buy stuff as I wanted to learn how to repair things in my house on the component level.
I have a numerous of personal projects to build in the IoT field with the ESP8266 or ESP32, repair things, pull out components, and build new circuits. I may even get a full job in the microelectronics if I am lucky.
I made a documentation page for installing and setup ESP8266 on github, which utility will be like a bookmark for me and others.
I didn't finished Arduino tutorials also.
And in the present I am working as an Electromechanical Tehnician in a scooter service, where it would be a great advantage to learn repairing electric problems as well.
Hope that I didn't miss something important. (Also I have a life) 😀
Hi Christian,
when you say you work on "scooters" do you mean the Mobility Scooters that old folks use to get around when they aren't so steady on their legs any more?
I did that some time ago and wasn't very impressed with the technology of the scooters but I LOVED the customers. Some of them were in pain and depressed but many were very brave and interesting old folks with interesting anecdotes to tell.
I sometimes think about how you might go about building such a vehicle using modern electrical methods.
Regards
Mark
@mark-bolton not quite... but the scooters for young people, with a folding mechanism.

It could be an idea, but for now I stick it to more simpler projects in both knowledge and budget required.
I am not very familiar with the modern scooters young people use but they look pretty state of the art.
The Disability ones use heavy lead acid batteries and horrible inefficient gearboxes , small wheels and brushed DC motors. They have a high C of G and can go quite fast making them dangerous.
I too am interested in Off Grid Smart Dwellings and am learning about IoT. I Already know a little bit about electronics so that side of things isnt quite so confusing.
Batteries Banks arent as simple as they look at first inspection either.
Cheers
