Hi everyone, my name is Kelly and I'm from British Columbia Canada.

Electronics has been one of my many hobbies for over four decades. My other hobbies also include dirt bike riding, woodworking, gardening, to name a few. I've come to the realization though that my primary hobby is collecting tools for all my other hobbies.

I'm a cellular network analyst by trade. I took electronics at BCIT in the early 90s taking the control option in my second year. I've been working with micro controllers since, my first being the one we studied at BCIT, the HC11 programmed in assembly language. Home automation has been a passion of mine since BCIT.

I'm just getting started in Linux (probably 3 years now and purchased my first Raspberry Pi on boxing day last year. I started out with Arduinos about 10+ years ago. Moved to the ESP8266 and ESP32 after that.

I look forward to chatting with everyone. With that being said, I'm off to get ready to go out exploring this beautiful island I live on my dirt bike.

Take care, Kelly
