I've finally reached the stage in life where I can do what *I* want to do (i.e. empty-nest retirement 😊 ), and what I've wanted to do my entire life is fiddle with electronics and embedded systems.
For the past year, as I've learned Arduino, I've watched DroneBot Workshop videos regularly. Yesterday, I wanted to post to the forums for the first time, so I'm here.
I've lived in the Czech Republic for 30+ years. Programmer. Hiker. Husband/father/grandfather.

I'm nearly finished with all of the projects in these two documents:

as well as all of the "Built-in Examples" included with the Arduino IDE.
Now, as you figured, I'm starting to think about concocting some projects that interest me. Here's my current list:
- I recently watched the DroneBot Workshop video ATX Bench Power Supply - Convert a Computer Power Supply because I've got a couple of old computers lying around for cannibalizing and I see the need for a power supply;
- Would like to put together Simple Flashlight DIY Kit for my granddaughter;
- ARDUINO MKR IOT BUNDLE interests me;
- I've developed a detailed plan for a Chutes and Ladders board game using WS2812B LEDs. Software is written (tested with the Serial Monitor for output). Need to start working on the hardware.
- a project that I'll post to "Suggest NEW Content" soon.

I've returned to lurking. 😀
To feed my interest in IoT, I ordered an ESP32 board. Have identified three DroneBot Workshop videos that I want to watch in conjunction:

Should keep me busy for a while.
