Hi, I'm PeterTrad

I live in the Boston area, but spend a lot of time in Maine. I've spent most of my career working as a programmer, but I find myself incredibly inspired by all the developments in the maker space. I have a Carbide 3d cutting machine which I have used to produce basic carvings and models. I just started working with 3d printing, Arduino boards and sensors and MQTT servers. 

I've gutted and completely renovated one house and built another two unit house in Maine. I've designed and installed the wiring and the solar and heating systems. Solar power has really come down in price. I've started using the Arduino systems with sensors to report to the MQTT server information on humidity, etc.

I've run into a number of issues when working with Arduino and circuits. I've found the DroneBot videos to be incredibly good  (kind of the best out there) and an grateful that Bill has created this forum.
