Hi Gary, welcome to the forum.
Arduino is a good place to start, very accessible and lots of examples and experienced members here to consult.
If you haven't already done so, download the Arduino IDE and start your journey.

The vid on ultrasonic sensor has inspired me to start the journey with Arduino I'm trying to use the A0221AU waterproof version with a code I downloaded but having difficulty
Hoping someone can help?
@gooseone Ok, when you run into a roadblock, start a topic in the appropriate forum. Just explain what you are attempting to do, what you expect the program to do and what it actually does. Include screen shots, do NOT try to paraphrase. Good luck.

@gooseone Asking a question like that is like asking how deep the ocean is 10 miles off shore from near my house.
