I am a professional Software Engineer and want to get into some EE work as a hobbyists.  I am currently trying my hand at a custom joystick for a PC.  I am looking forward to learning more and seeing my project evolve.

Hi and welcome to the forum. What aspects of software engineering are you proficient in?

If your getting into down into the world of EE and MCUs then the forum is a great to hang out, share and seek guidance and advice.

Hey @ronbentley1,

I do mainly backend development right now.  I am proficient in C++, C#, PHP, Python, Java and Javascript.  I work in Fintech connecting banks routes to clients for Instant Payments.  I work a lot with RestFul and TCP Tunnels for communication.  I have done pretty much every type of development in my career, besides programming raw hardware or microprocessors.  I hope that answers your question, don't want to drone on to much.
