Hi. My name is Wally. I'm originally from Michigan, but my company moved me to South Carolina, near Columbia, 14 years ago. I am a veteran of the Air Force. Then I went to college and started a fun and rewarding 43 year career in IT, 36 of then with my last company. I retired at the end of 2018 and I have to say I miss working. I retired early to be home to help my wife who has some health issues. I'm home a lot so having a hobby in electronics, mostly Arduino, has been handy. I took a mail order course to build a color TV while I was in college and I've been interested in electronics since. The Arduino really got me fired up!
I have been enjoying Bill's videos, some of the best on the topic in my opinion.
I am an amateur ham, we ride our Harley Ultra with our friends, I like SCUBA diving in the Florida Keys and Cozumel, I have a pilot license, but haven't flown in a while (something I needed to know I could do). We had a 30' sailboat and cruised Lake Michigan before moving here.
I'm looking forward to learning and sharing.

Welcome to the forum, @wally. There are a number of Hams here as well as a ton of information on Arduinos and everything else electronic and IT related. I'm sure you will find the discussions helpful and informative.
