Hi guys,

I have been involved in electronics since 1970. I joined the Royal Australian Air Force in Jan 1970. They trained me! I discharged after 12 years service and went back to my family broad acre farm. Being used to receiving fortnightly pay, I decided to join the Australian public service in the Mainframes area. I retired in 2000, eventually becoming a Grey Nomad in 2006. For those who are not in the know - Grey Nomads are people who continuously travel on the road in an RV of some sort, generally until incapacity takes hold. My wife and I are still traveling but a lot slower as we are in our 70's. I still dabble in computers and occasionally help others on the road, when my health allows it. I did a little bit of programming but back when Condata, Univac and Amdahl where going strong. Modern languages I have no idea! I consider myself a little brain dead so, if I ask stupid questions or come over as stupid, be nice!
