Hello, my name is Nick and I currently live in Japan and I'm passionate about keyboards. I learned about this forum from Youtube and have so many questions.
Currently I design split keyboards using 2 Pro Micros and a serial connection. I think the keyboard community can do better. I would like to start using I2C, but with keyboards! I've got a breadboard ready to go.
Wouldn't it be fun to have a double split keyboard? With I2C you can! You can split the left side of the keyboard, the right side, and the numpad. I hope to solve this in the future using i2c, 3 pro micros, and 3OLED displays. Having RGB per key lighting would also be great! I wonder if i2c can help! Thank you for inviting me and I look forward to talking with you.
