My name is Wilber. I'm a skilled IT professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience in various technologies. I have always been passionate about sharing my technical knowledge and insights with others via my blog. My journey in IT began with a unique, tape-based processor that could store data on physical tapes (just regular music tapes) in the 1990s. That early experience sparked my curiosity and led me to explore information technology like operating systems, programming languages, databases, animation, graphic design, website building, machine learning, virtualization, cloud computing...etc.

My Introduction to Raspberry Pi marked the beginning of an exciting journey into electronics, opening up what felt like an entirely new universe to me. I find immense joy in driving physical sensors and motors through codes, as it allows me to bridge the gap between software and hardware. While I have come a long way, I still consider myself a new learner, constantly seeking to grow. Currently, I am in the process of building my own robot tank, having already gathered the necessary parts.

I am thrilled to find DroneBot Workshop. Although I subscribed to the newsletter some time ago, I only recently discovered the tremendous value and quality of content it offers. I genuinely appreciate Bill's contributions to the community.

Hello Wilber,

Welcome to the Forum. Don from Michigan here, a relative newbie hoping to learn and grow my knowledge of all things microprocessor. Currently dabbling in both ESP32 and Raspberry Pi PICO.

Have fun! Regards, Don

@djintroy Thank you! I'm sorry for the late response. I didn't receive notification.

I just ordered some ESP32 development boards and accessories. Can’t wait to explore the new hardware!
