Hi, my Name is Perry and I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I was introduced to the Arduino microprocessor and the Dronebot Workshop approx. 2 years ago and I was hooked.  My very first project is a semi-automated medication dispenser. It will dispenses daily medication for an entire month by placing medication(s) in 31 separate containers using stepper motors, push buttons, sensors, and an LCD display for menu options. I know it's quite a project for a newbie but with the help of The Dronebot Workshop, a lot of determination, and eagerness to learn it is almost complete (once I figure out some sensor issues). Other projects include controlling photography lights with a TV remote, a motion activated cat toy, a motion activated cat feeder, a radio controlled linear actuator, and an automatic "one way" cat door which uses an 8in x 24in pressure sensor I custom made.
I am looking forward to learning more about this fascinating world of electronics and microprocessors. From what I can see and learned so far, I've come to the right place.
