Hello to all,
I already posted on the forum, but I forgot the presentation (doesn't matter: here we are to put thing right!)
Alex from Italy, here!
I am a "not so young" robotic enthusiastic, just for hobby, of course.
I'm trying to learn analog and basic electronic (I am a developer) and I have to say that I am not find it very easy (it seems so huuuuugeeee!).
I think that like most of you here, I am very impressed from the sytle of @dronebot-workshop : I don't know exactly why: the voice, the tone, the style, the clarity of the topic... I am impressed, really.
(oh, and not mention that even if I am not a native English speaker, I don't have to use 0.75x speed playback!!! 🙂
For example, I just start to study the 555 timer on a course I am following on Udemy: ok, yes I have understand, but, Lord, watching the DroneBot's video is another full story!
I my humble opinion, if DroneBot was creating an entire full course would be a real gift to
the humanity ! 🙂
See you soon!

Welcome aboard!
There are many people here with similar interest, and I'm sure you'll find this to be a great resource.
Cheers

... considering I have to use 0.75x for many people speaking ENGLISH! 🤣 Particularly those from India and even parts of North East United States. 🤣

Welcome to the forum!
Since you're into robotics, did you build any robots?
If so what do they do?
I'm curious to know.
Have a nice day
P.S.
From which region do you come from?
Ciao @valerio,
talking about robot, until now, I made only the classic car: 2W, HC-S05, 2 LDRs and BT control but I have build different stuff like a meter level for my pellet stove, a web server traffic light (just to say:"dinner is ready" to my daughter while she's playing to xbox), a "Simon says" game and a lot of other stupid things (but I love them! 🙂 )
BTW, I live in Lombardia, near Switzterland.
Your robot car seems interesting.
I have recently finished my own 2 wheel car with bluetooth control.
It was supposed to have a rotating infrared rangefinder, but since the sensor didn't work
even with example code I decided to not implement it.
Speaking of robots, a robot requires a chassis, and I'm currently designing some different chassis that can be 3d printed.
However the chassis I made don't really have a purpose, they are made just as a pastime.
Would you be interested in a custom chassis made for you?
I can send the stl files through a private message.
Best regards
Valerio
I am still laughing about your 'come and get your dinner' app! This qualifies as a father to daughter interface protocol!!!
