Hello,
My name is Harry wever, retired carpenter,  i am from the netherlands and just started with electronics.
For many years my hobby is building and flying modelairplanes, drones etc. Never understood really how the electronics worked. But now that i have more time i started to learn more about it, just bought a arduino kit.
watching a lot of videos now. But to be honest i find it not easy. I hope when i have questions that i can come here. Gr harry

@harrywever

Welcome aboard. With your Arduino kit you will be able to learn some coding skills as well as electronics.

Hi there Harry,

Here's another Arduino beginner from The Netherlands.
It's a steep learning curve, but once you have your first kit projects running it'll be fun to take the next step!

Met grote groet
Michel

Nice to meet you. It sounds like you already have a great background for getting into electronics. Your experience with model airplanes and drones should actually help a lot.

@harrywever

Welcome to the forum Harry,

Getting an Arduino and working through some of the videos and tutorials available is an excellent way to get started. We were all in your shoes at one time, I know I was (still am, in some respects!). But once your first couple of projects start working, things will begin to click into place and make sense!  Don’t be afraid to ask questions if you get stuck, or need more explanation on something, that’s what we are here for. Take care.

Regards,

LeeG

Thank you Lee and girlindrone,

i started now with the simple lessons on the arduino. Led, buzzer, etc and a start of the coding.never done that in my life so i had to read it a couple of times. Evey day i try to study a hour and follow a lesson, But slowly now i start to fill in the code lines as a know what i am doing. 😉 . And if i have questions i know where to go. Thank you again.. gr Harry wever
