Hallo. My name is Agi, I'm new at DroneBot Forums. I'm a Costume designer from London UK, nothing to do with Electronics, but since last year from February due not being very active at my work as everyone else because of pandemic situation and having much free time, I bought a small CNC machine and started some hobby making small thigs out of wood and plastic. As i was going through some electronics and wireing some electric components for my work, I needed help and started doing research at internet, I saw your channel and  I started enjoying your you tube channel and getting some very interesting and useful information's, So I decided to join your forum so I can be more in touch and getting more knowledge, and I'm seeing here some very interesting professionals in electronics.

Please go easy on me if I sometimes make any questions that are below your standards, but be kind in understanding us and share your knowledge knowing that you'll help someone like me>

Thanks for understanding and looking forward to be part in this forum.

By costume designer I assume that is for theatre or films rather than fashion?
No one is beneath anyone's standards. Those more advanced in electronics and programming are probably too busy with their own thing. Often you are more likely to get suggestions or help from others with slightly more experience.  May I ask what is it you want to know or do with electronics?  Keep in mind digital electronics using hardware, like the Arduino, involves programming.

Welcome to the forum Agi,

Like robotBuilder said, no one (or their question) is below our standards! We were all novices at one point in our pursuit of electronics and programming knowledge. I can’t tell you how many dumb mistakes ( The “You should have known better…” kind) I have made or the stupid questions I asked over the years.

In my opinion, the dumbest question you’ll ever have is the one you don’t ask. So, if you have a question, ask away!!

What sort of projects are you interested in?

Lee
