Hi, I'm David (I go by Terminal_6 in most online places) and I'm a mechanical engineer who just got laid off this week, haha. While my strongest experience is in design for FDM 3D printing, I love rounding out my mechatronics knowledge however I can. One of my latest projects was an ESP32-based datalogger that accepted up to 8 analog signals, displayed them to a small OLED screen, and wrote data to an SD card. I still consider myself more of a beginner in the fields of programming and electronics, as I always have so much to learn with every new project I tackle. Speaking of which, I'm currently working on an ESP32-based Artnet node to control addressable RGBLEDs. You may soon see a new topic about that in the requisite section.
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
I'm a mechanical engineer
Hi David!
Welcome, sez me.
Another Mechanical Engineer comes along! I think there's enough here to form a chapter of ME's. Makes me wonder if Bill's advertising or something.
I hope you enjoy the forum, have fun, and things turn up soon for you.
The one who has the most fun, wins!
