Greeting to all, my name is Rudy and I am completely new to Arduino technology. I am retired construction manager and my interest lie in Model Railroad HO scale. I have recently tinkered with Arduino Uno and found myself captivated. Learning through videos on YouTube and purchasing only the most elementary components to assemble projects.  My first computer exposure was in grade school, in the late 60s. Thats when the computer were so big that three classrooms were dedicated for one machine. I feel fortunate to find a forum where I can research and find answers to many questions. A place where I might be able to express my frustrations or hysteria regarding this new endeavor.

Hi Rudy
There have been other posters with an interest in Model Railroads since Bill started these forums although they haven't posted anything recently.

Hello Rudy, and a warm welcome to the forum.

Arduino is a great place to start your journey into microcontroller technology - it can do so much and there is a whealth of resources on the net and this forum to assist and guide you.

If you haven't already seen or used the Arduino Project Hub then I recommend you explore this also, there are 1000's of Arduino projects and articles on it for beginners and the more expert.

There are plenty of train enthusiasts on this forum also so you are in good company.

Enjoy your learning and discoveries and let us know how you are doing from time time.

Regards

Ron B

PS

The forum's video library is also well worth a surf.
