Hi, my name is Mike. I have been a software engineer for forty years. I first got into electronics as a hobby as a result of some of the hardware-related courses that I took as a Computer Science major. This was back in the day when a personal computer was something that you built from a kit and wired up with a wire wrap tool. Bill assures me that some of you know what I am talking about.
Anyway, life progressed and I started a family. Hobbies pretty much went to the sidelines due to helping my sons with homework, school projects and scouting. Plus keeping the house intact and earning money to pay for it all. I am now at the point of retirement and getting my feet wet again. I have thirty years of change to catch up with. I hope that I can get some ideas and knowledge here as well as being a resource to others with the software that has become such a big part of this now.
@Mike
