I have been interested in designing and building things since the age of 5 (when I got my first Library Ticket and was also allowed access to my Dad's shed). I studied electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering from an early age and, after some formal training, joined British Telecomm where I eventially became an Electronics Designer and a Senior Programmer.
I left BT in 1992 and worked for various Companies on a consultancy basis. in 2014 I had a boating accident and decided to retire. Since then I have been messing with various projects. These have mostly been incorporating Arduinos or ESP32s.
My other interests are Cars and Music.
That's about it for now.
