I am looking forward to make a Star Tracker (something that could help me move my camera with the motion of sky that happens due to rotation of Earth)
Check if intrested or you can skip to the problem with motor
The design I am going for is called a Barn door tracker ( https://barndoor.space ).I am going with this design (https//blarg.co.uk/assets/images/astronomy/barn-door-tracker.png )
What I want to do is rotate the motor (speed) according to a particular function (which is due to my design). I saw the Stepper motor tutorial with arduino on DBW's Youtube channel. Though they didn't rotate the motor putting real speeds (rev/min or other).
So how can the steps be timed so as to control the speed. I want to rotate the motor proportional to cosine of a parameter (this parameter depends on total revolutions the motor had from the start)
All suggestions are welcomed. I haven't used Arduino ever. It will be helpful if you can list some good resources.
You might want to check the box "Open link in a new tab" when you insert a link in your posts. That way you can have the DBW Forum still open in a tab while looking at the site the link references. That keeps you from having to use the 'back arrow' in your browser to get back to the forum. I believe once you check this box it remains checked for future links.

Oh, did I do anything wrong ? I copied the links from New Tabs only.
Absolutely nothing wrong! Just a suggestion that I find very useful for me. Others may have a different opinion.
Just click on the 'Link Chain' when doing a post or a reply and notice you have 3 entry areas for URL, Link Text, and Title. Additionally there is a checkbox for "Open link in new tab." If you check that, then when someone follows the link you embed in your post they open that link in a new tab in the browser, leaving the DroneBot Workshop Forum in the original tab so that it is easy to get back to.
If you reply to me now, before you click the "Save" button, click on the "Link Chain" in the menu icons so you can see what I just described. You can then just click the "Cancel" button to return to your reply, then "Save" to post it.

Oh, Thank you. That's helpful. Got what you meant.
