@ronalex4203 I dont think you are "weird" in the slightest and even if I did it would be presumptuous (and bloody rude)  of me to define your outlook by contradistinction of my own personal view point... we Australians arent stuck up or prissy...

I have visited Canada and I love the society...

Here in Austr4alia we have Canadian refugees that are escaping cabin fever and the cold... and clustrophobia. they show up as workers in the mining industry in very HOT places ..

When I was in Canada what really impressed me was the attention young people payed to their sexuality. Young men were brave but not nasty. A young lady tour guide  ...a young woman blessed by all the demonstrable gifts of her situation ... She was a "cracker" but she was demur and all the more striking for her modesty, her simple floral dress and no make up...   ... She was something else..

@will I guess you don't know what a storage bay in an RV looks like. It is a closed on 6 sides box.

[snipt]

When those hatches close there is a lot of force and vibration. I will install all the sensors I can find that may work and then with software observe what happens under real world use. I saw a video today from the Swiss guy and he was showing a couple different radar based sensors that might be better for me. Remember, I am experimenting.

OK, sounds like you know what you want.

@ronalex4203

Google is your friend.

I have seen many video's in that past; that show how easy it is to convert a standard relay into a latching one.

Cheers.

As @ronalex4203 mentioned earlier in this thread, he has received an answer to his original question and that the thread was getting off topic.

I would like to see this back and forth banter come to an end, and let's get back to answering questions that other forum members have.  That is the purpose of this forum.

And there is no need to even reply, as that would just add another post to the thread.  If no more posts are seen, I'll know all have read this post.  Feel free to send me a PM if you feel it is absolutely necessary to respond.

Agreed - I think it's time we bring this thread to an end, it has served its purpose.
