I'd like to learn a little more about MQTT. I'm planning to set up a small weather network with three sensor nodes (Arduino nanos) in different locations, a broker, and a control (my mac laptop or RPi4) that queries and receives the data and logs it to Excel. My question is what do I need for the broker (a RPi4 or something similar? - Would a RPi Zero work?).
Thanks.

An RPi4 would definitely work; I'm using MQTT with Home Assistant on my RPi4. I don't know anything about the Pi Zero so I can't comment on that.

OK, thanks. I have the individual sensors working, now to tie every-thing together and get the log function working.
