I want to modify Will's iot water gardering project. I will not use a pump but a gravity system ( cool way to said rain barrel ). I'will use old std garden hose. Water pressure won't be high.    b) emergency usage of this watering system could use a gardenning hose but pressure will be limited to max 15 psi by a physical compoment. So questions: any suggestion of place to order this kind of piece ?  Common known problem exist with it ? Valve will be open or close. So will not regulate the water flow.

thanks

@solusseeke I found both 110VAC and 12VDC water valves on Amazon, so they are easy to find. For your project, however, you will likely want a much smaller valve, maybe 1/4" and max 12VDC, or better still 5VDC. Try aquarium supplies or high-end gardening stores. The IOT garden is the most popular IOT project with thousands of solutions. My wife has 2 commercial units, but they don't work well at all. Better to do it DIY.

@solusseeke  Here is a link to a family of valves available in various hose diameters and power configurations. This is from amazon.ca so depending on your country change the appropriate part of the expanded link. https://amz.run/6iMR
